The Form 4 tape for September 10th to 17th, 2026 shows 347 open-market purchase filings across 151 companies, worth $152.0 million. The two largest lines on it are the reason to read the footnotes before the headline.

The biggest, $34.32 million of Flotek Industries, was filed by director Matthew Wilks. His vehicle THRC Holdings received 1,319,493 shares from ProFrac in exchange for cancelling $34.32 million of term loans, at a price set by a five-day average of $26.01. It carries the open-market code, but no shares changed hands on an exchange and no cash was paid.

The second, $10.27 million of Fox Corp by Lachlan Murdoch, is a same-day pair: 149,934 Class A shares sold from his direct account and 149,934 bought by the LKM Family Trust, both at $68.53. His holdings did not change. It is a transfer between pockets.

A third line, $23.39 million of United States Oil Fund units bought by HRT Financial across eleven filings, is a trading firm dealing in an exchange-traded fund, not an insider expressing a view. Remove those three and the week's purchases come to about $84.1 million. Only 28 filings were $1 million or larger, and the median purchase was $21,600.

What was left was more interesting than the total. Uber chief executive Dara Khosrowshahi bought 141,000 shares for $10.01 million on September 10th, 2026. At Borr Drilling, founder Tor Olav Trøim added 1,000,000 shares for $4.30 million on September 16th, 2026, his fourth purchase since mid-August. Truist's president and chief executive Michael Lyons bought 21,000 shares at $48.36, or $1.02 million, on September 17th, 2026, and Upstart chief executive Paul Gu paid $1.28 million for 50,000 shares on September 10th, 2026, in a stock down roughly two thirds over a year.

Two clusters stood out. At Celsius Holdings, chief executive John Fieldly bought 18,000 shares at $27.44 on September 10th, 2026, and directors Damon DeSantis and Hal Kravitz followed with three purchases on September 14th and 15th, $1.83 million in all, with the stock down 48% over twelve months. At Cooper Companies, three directors bought $1.33 million between September 11th and 14th, led by Lawrence Kurzius at $539,150.

Corporate insiders still sold far more than they bought. For September to date, $682 million of purchases sit against $4.38 billion of sales, 803 buy filings against 3,798 sells. That ratio is normal. What is not normal is a group of officers buying the same stock in the same week, and this week produced two.

Every figure above comes from SEC Form 4 filings via EDGAR, reviewed by InsiderBuying.com, for the windows stated. None of it is a recommendation, and a purchase is not a forecast.
